Rinnai Corporation is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan. Founded in 1920 by Hidejiro Naito and Kanekichi Hayashi today it is one of the world's largest producers of domestic hot water equipment, with 43 branches worldwide. In general Rinnai has always developed technologies for gas combustion, in all facets of use. In Asia it is seen as a leading representative of kitchen appliance manufacturers (cook tops, ovens and catering industry equipment). Rinnai quality gas appliances are in demand all over the world. We pay particular attention to lifestyle, climate and territory of every country we export to. All of these elements are reflected in the development and marketing of our products. Rinnai's global network includes a strong presence in Asia and extends to Oceania, America and Europe.
The Rinnai approach, focused on customer needs, is based on the principle of providing heat in a safe and efficient way to improve the comfort of users, with an emphasis on convenience.
The expectations of a gas appliance, including safety, fair price, compact size and reduced weight, changes continuously over time. Consequently, Rinnai products are constantly evolving, supported by technological innovations and new production capacity. Meanwhile services are implemented: working and producing to create a more comfortable and sustainable lifestyle, reducing operating costs in line with market requirements.
We use gas for three main purposes: cooking, producing domestic hot water and heating or cooling our homes. Rinnai manufactures gas appliances, which are essential in everyday life (such as cook tops, rice cookers or other cooking equipment, as well as water heaters, fan convector heaters and air conditioning) including equipment that is able to improve the quality of our home life (such as dishwashers and clothes dryer). The rapid advancement of combustion technologies and the addition of IT functions have also given rise to new high value added product lines.
So-called "developed" companies are faced with the problem of an ageing population and that of the delicate balance between mankind and the environment. The Rinnai Research and Development department strongly focuses on the study and implementation of environmentally sustainable and user friendly technologies. An example of all this is the development in combustion technologies developed by Rinnai, such as low-energy systems and ceramic burners with extremely low NOx (nitrogen oxide) emissions. In accordance with our main objective (providing absolutely safe products), Rinnai has also developed cutting edge technologies, such as electronics and the production of sensors, which contribute to this purpose.
What Rinnai sees for the future is the increasingly stringent interdependence between the production of heat and domestic life. Rinnai works to ensure that a comfortable standard of living is the prerogative of more and more people expanding their structure on a global scale and fostering an environment of incentives for its employees.
